13 years of efforts of meeting MDGs  were unparallel in the history of the man kind. 1000 days are remaining for meeting the remaining goals.

The the global results so far are encouraging though one of the core issues is the regional inequity in achieving these results.

 

United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Liberia are co-chairing an important committee that will make recommendations to the United Nations about what should be included in a post-2015 development agenda. Their report is due at the end of this month. I keep wondering if the billions of poor for whom MDGs are set are at all aware of the targets? And what difference had it made?
